Disclosures

Last updated 4 July 2026 · TENK/calls.

TENK publishes opinionated research on US-listed stocks — AI-generated deep analysis alongside rule-based quant screens. We want you to know exactly what that is — and what it isn't — before you act on anything here.

We are not a registered investment adviser

TENK is a publisher of impersonal financial research and education. We are not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer in the United States or any other jurisdiction, and we are not authorised as an investment firm in the EU. Nothing on TENK is investment advice, a personal recommendation, or a recommendation that any security, strategy or transaction is suitable for you.

Our calls are impersonal: every call is identical for all users, is generated on a schedule, and does not take account of your financial situation, objectives, knowledge, experience or risk tolerance. We do not give individualized advice, and we never tell any specific person what to do with their money. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, and you should consider whether any investment is appropriate for you and seek independent financial, tax and legal advice as needed.

How our calls are made

Every TENK call is grounded in two inputs:

  • •SEC filings (EDGAR / XBRL fundamentals) — the primary, source-of-record data for every company we cover.
  • •A delayed / third-party market-price feed — used for prices, valuation context and screening.

We run these inputs through our scoring and fair-value models to produce a single verdict per stock, plus a written thesis. Calls come in two tiers, and each call page carries a provenance line saying which one produced it: deep-analysis calls, whose written thesis is AI-generated — produced by our proprietary engine from SEC filing data — and rule-based quant screens, whose text is generated automatically from the same data by deterministic templates, with no AI-generated text.

We separate facts from opinions in the write-up: figures reported in SEC filings are facts; scores, fair-value estimates, price targets and forecasts are estimates and opinions, not statements of fact, and are labelled as such. Recommendations are completed at the timestamp shown on each call page, and each call carries the sources it relied on. Calls may be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and we may change a call at any time.

What our ratings mean

  • BUY — the engine expects the stock to outperform: its growth, profitability, balance sheet and valuation screen favourably on the available SEC fundamentals.
  • HOLD — the engine is broadly neutral; no strong edge either way on the scored fundamentals.
  • SELL — the engine expects the stock to underperform: the scored fundamentals and/or the valuation on top of them screen unfavourably.
  • AVOID — the engine sees elevated risk or red flags (for example, a loss-making business on a stressed balance sheet) that make the stock one to stay away from.

Fair-value estimates use an earnings-based modified-Graham model; the exact inputs behind each figure are disclosed next to the estimate on the stock page.

These labels are our opinion only. Risk warning: all investing carries risk, including loss of capital. Our calls depend heavily on the SEC data available and on model assumptions; if those inputs or assumptions are wrong, stale, or move materially, the call can be wrong too. Markets, prices and company fundamentals change continuously.

How often we update, and our recommendation mix

We refresh calls on a regular schedule and as new SEC filings arrive. The current distribution of our calls across our featured universe — major-exchange common stocks meeting our size & liquidity floors (as of 4 July 2026) is:

Conflict of interest — affiliated trading

This is the most important disclosure on this page, so we put it plainly. TENK/calls is operated by its founders, who also operate an affiliated proprietary trading operation (the “Affiliate”) that buys and sells US-listed equities through a brokerage account. The Affiliate may hold, acquire or dispose of the same securities TENK rates — including before, during or after a call is published — and its positions may be inconsistent with, or opposite to, TENK's calls.

TENK's calls are generated independently of the Affiliate's trading and are not coordinated with it. But you should treat every TENK call as one on which the operator or its affiliate may have, or may take, a position. This is a conflict of interest, and we want you to weigh our calls with that in mind.

To manage it, we:

  • •Disclose positions over a threshold (forthcoming). We are building a per-call flag that will show where the Affiliate holds a net long or short position exceeding 0.5% of an issuer's total issued share capital, and its direction. Until it ships, assume the Affiliate may hold any rated name in either direction.
  • •Don't trade ahead of you. The Affiliate does not trade ahead of a not-yet-published call, and we observe a publication embargo / quiet window on the names we cover.
  • •Keep research and trading separate. Call generation is operated separately from the Affiliate's execution.

No compensation from issuers

TENK receives no compensation from any issuer, investor-relations firm, or other third party for covering, featuring, or rating any stock. We are never paid — in cash or securities — to publish a particular call. If this ever changes for any specific piece of content, we will disclose the source and the exact amount of that consideration on that content.

Market data

Prices, news and news sentiment, corporate actions (dividends and splits), market-cap and 52-week-range metrics, and aggregated social-mention data on TENK/calls are provided by third parties and licensed for display only — they are not redistributed. Where our developer API returns quotes, those are on a bring-your-own-key basis. SEC filing data and our own derived analytics are ours.

No advice, no warranty, limited liability

TENK and everything on it are provided “as is,” for information and education only, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for any purpose. Past performance does not guarantee future results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of TENK is not liable for any decision you make or action you take based on TENK, or for any indirect, consequential or incidental loss; where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
